"As a personal being, God has revealed Himself in His Son. Jesus, the outshining of the Father’s glory,“and the express image of His person” ( Hebrews 1:3), was on earth found in fashion as a man. As a personal Saviour He came to the world. As a personal Saviour He ascended on high. As a personal Saviour He intercedes in the heavenly courts. Before the throne of God in our behalf ministers “One like unto the Son of man.” Revelation 1:13." (MH 418.4)
Question: What does “a personal” mean? It means one or more than one person? What does the word “Himself” mean? Who is this God?

問題: 從以上的經文看, 上帝和他的兒子會是同一位嗎? 他的兒子又會否如三位一體所說的 "有一上帝:父、子、聖靈,為一永恆存在之三位的結合" 的其中的一位? 如果不是的話, 那請問這位上帝是由幾多位組成的? 一位還是多於一位? 我們都知道這位兒子就是耶穌, 那麼這位上帝是誰呢?

The heart, the arteries, the veins, the tongue, the hands, the feet, the senses, the faculties of the mind, all began their work, and all were placed under law. Man became a living soul. THROUGH CHRIST THE WORD, a personal God created man and endowed him with intelligence and power.” (MH 415)
問題: 這位藉著基督創造人類的神是一位還是多於一位(三位一體)? "A personal" (個人)這個詞語是什麼意思?
現今在我們這個世界上,對於創造主並不是一位有位格有形體的上帝,還有著不少的論爭。上帝有形體,人是接著祂的形體被塑造的。上帝按著自己的形像把人創造出來之後,人的身體就各方面的安排來說都是完美的了,只是沒有生命力。後來經過有位格有形體、自有永有的上帝,將生命的氣息吹進那身體裡,人便成了一個有生命、有氣息、有智慧的生物。人體各部分的組織都開始活動起來。心臟、動脈、靜脈、舌頭、手腳、頭腦的理解力、各種感官、全都受著自然律的支配。這時,人才成為有靈的活人了。
上帝──並不是什麼香氣,也不是什麼模糊無實體的東西,而是一位有位格有形體的上帝,藉著耶穌基督創造了人,又將智慧和能力賦給他。…… (Ms117 21 Sep, 1898/今日偕主行 267.4-5) “There are many issues in our world today in regard to the Creator not being a personal God. God is a being, and man was made in His image. After God created man in His image, the form was perfect in all its arrangements, but it had no vitality. Then a personal, SELF-EXISTING GOD breathed into that form the breath of life, and man became a living, breathing, intelligent being. All parts of the human machinery were put in motion. The heart, the arteries, the veins, the tongue, the hands, the feet, the perceptions of the mind, the senses, were placed under physical law. It was then that man became a living soul.
THROUGH Jesus Christ, God—NOT A PERFUME, NOT SOMETHING INTENGIBLE, but a personal God—created man and endowed him with intelligence and power. (Ms117 21 Sep, 1898/TDG 267.4-5)
從以上兩段的證言清楚指出那位自有永有的神只有一位就是天父, 亦是耶穌, 保羅及眾使徒口中所稱的"一神/獨一真神" (約 17:3, 哥前 8:6, 以弗所書 4:6 & 約一 5:19-20等等 ). 他藉著祂的兒子耶穌基督創造世界, 又藉著祂的兒子把他的品格彰顯出來. 注意: 基督雖為神, 擁有天父一切的屬性, 權柄, 能力及被父高舉與他"同等"但他不像天父是"萬有之源"(然而我們只有一位神, 就是父, 萬物都本於他, 我們也歸於他. 哥前 8:6). 只因耶穌是天父的獨生子從他而出(父在先, 子在後!), 加上耶穌基督的一切都是從天父而來的. 所以這就是為什麼聖經多次指出"一神"就是父, 而不是由父, 子, 靈三為合一! 亦是耶穌所說的: "我父比我大"
"基督從上帝那裡承受了萬有,但他承受乃是為要施與。基督在天庭為一切受造之物的服務,也是如此;天父的生命透過他的愛子流給萬有,萬有再將讚美和愉快的侍奉,就是愛的熱潮,透過上帝的愛子歸還“萬有之源”。(歷代願望 21.2)
“All things Christ received from God, but He took to give. So in the heavenly courts, in His ministry for all created beings: through the beloved Son, the Father’s life flows out to all; through the Son it returns, in praise and joyous service, a tide of love, to the great Source of all.” (DA 21.2)
"因為父怎樣在自己有生命, 就賜給他兒子也照樣在自己有生命." (約翰福音 5: 26)
“Our ministers must be very careful not to enter into controversy in regard to the personality of God. This is a subject that they are not to touch. It is a mystery, and the enemy will surely lead astray those who enter into it. We know that Christ came in person to reveal God to the world. God is a person (not a unity of 3 co-eternal persons**), and Christ is a person. Christ is spoken of in the Word as “the brightness of His Father’s glory, and the express image of His person.” {Ms46-1904.15 par. 15)

God is a person, an individual person! God id not a unity of three co-eternal persons. It doesn't get clear than that!

“God is never to be understood by any human being. His ways and His works are past finding out. In regard to the revelations that He has made of Himself in His Word, we may talk. But when it comes to talking or writing of God’s person and presence, let us say, ‘Thou art God, and Thy ways are past finding out.’”(Lt232-1903.49 1903)
"Again and again during my experience in the Lord’s work, I have been called upon to meet these erroneous sentiments. In every case, clear, powerful light has been given that God is the eternal, self-existent One. From my girlhood I have been given plain instruction that God is a person, and that Christ is “the express image of His person.” [Hebrews 1:3.] God always has been. That which concerns us is not the how or the wherefore." (MS 137, 1903 par 3)
Question: Is God a person or a unity of three co-eternal persons (Trinity)?
Answer: Obviously God is a person (not a unity of 3 co-eternal person) and He always has been! 显然,上帝是一个人(天父) 而不是由父、子、聖靈,為一永恆存在之三位的結合 & 他一直都是如此! Amen! "然而我們只有一位神, 就是父, 萬物都本於他, 我們也歸於他.並有一位主, 就是耶穌基督, 萬物都是藉著他有的, 我們也是藉著他有的. 但 人 不 都 有 這 等 知 識...." (哥林多前書 8: 6-7)
** 不是所有人都知道聖經中的"一神"只是一位, 就是父, 而不是像三位一體的教導說是由父, 子, 聖靈, 為一永恆存在之三位的結合的一位神!
"Christ gave his followers a positive promise that after his ascension he would send them his Spirit. “Go ye therefore,” he said, “and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father [a personal God], and of the Son [a personal Prince and Saviour], and of the Holy Ghost [sent from heaven to represent Christ]: teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world." Question: Who is God mentioned in the above verses?
Answer: The Father alone and he is a person!
"Our heavenly Father IS THE GOD OF THE UNIVERSE, and Christ is the divine Son, the One equal with the Father."
(Ms49, 1906, par.26)
Question: In what sense is Jesus (the Son) equal with The Father (God)? Is he also “the God of the universe” like His Father? Answer: “Our great Exemplar was exalted to be equal with God.”

"上帝所膏的聖子乃是“上帝本體的真像,”又是“上帝榮耀所發的光輝....宇宙的大君召集了天上的全軍到他面前,為要當著他們宣布他兒子的真正地位,並說明他和一切受造之物的關係。上帝的兒子是與父同坐寶座的(The Son of God shared the Father's throne),所以自有永有,亙古常在者的榮耀乃是父子所共有的…. 天父藉著他的兒子創造了天上一切的生靈……於是上帝當著天上的會眾聲明,唯有他的獨生子基督能完全參與他的謀劃,唯有基督有權執行他大能的旨意。上帝的兒子曾在創造天上眾軍的事上成全了父的旨意,所以他們應當敬拜服從基督,象敬拜服從上帝一樣。而且基督還要在創造地球和其上居民的事上施展他的權能…..路錫甫離開耶和華的面,出去到眾天使中間散佈不滿的情緒….路錫甫認為自己也是配受崇拜和尊敬的,所以聖父高舉他的兒子與他自己同等,就使路錫甫受了委屈 . 問題1) 誰是哪宇宙的大君, 自有永有,亘古常在者?
問題2) 是誰被上帝(天父)所膏及高舉? 這意味著什麼? 是父比子大還是子比父大? 還是父子他們是同等的地位?
問題3) 是什麼問題導致路锡甫不滿繼而叛變?

We rejoiced that the God of creation is the God of the Bible, and that we can claim this infinite Being as our Father. We talked of the glories of his power and wisdom, and adored the matchless love which has made it possible, through Jesus Christ, for fallen man to become a son and heir of the Maker and Sovereign of the universe. Question: Who is the God of the Bible? Who is the Maker and Sovereign of the universe?
Answer: The Father alone!
Question: Why Jesus is not also the God of the Bible if he is equal to the Father accordint to the doctrine of the Trinity?
Answer: Christ is one with the Father, but Christ and God are two distinct personages. (RH JUNE 1, 1905 Par.14)
“The Scriptures clearly indicate the relation between God and Christ, and they bring to view as clearly the personality and individuality of each. [Hebrews 1:1-5 quoted.] God is the Father of Christ; Christ is the Son of God. To Christ has been given an exalted position. He has been made equal with the Father. All the counsels of God are opened to His Son.” (Testimonies for the Church, vol. 8, page 268, 1904) Note: God is a person and he is the father of Christ. (Not a unity of 3 co-eternal persons)

“The seventeenth chapter of John speaks plainly regarding the personality of God and of Christ, and of their relation to each other. "Father, the hour is come," Christ said: "glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee." [John 17:23, 3, 5-11 quoted.] Here is personality, and individuality (MS 124, 1903)/(5BC 1145.10)
Remark: Again, God (a person) is the Father of Christ (literally) and Christ (a person) is the Son of God (literally)! Christ is not His father which means Christ is not the "God of the Bible". Please read below statement!
The Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father, is truly God in infinity, but not in personality. (Ms116-1905.19)
**In other words, Jesus is truly God in nature (divine nature like His father), but he is not truly God in personality meaning His Father is the original "One true God" of the Bible (Deut 6:4 & John 17:3 etc), not himself!

Just to that degree that light is refused and rejected will there be misconception and misunderstanding. (3SM 416.2)

God desires His people to look to Him for guidance, that they may be led by His Spirit. He is the eternal, Self-existence SOURCE OF ALL life, physical and spiritual. (Lt19-1901)
Question: Who is God mentioned in the above verse?
