聖靈的位格

很多人在看約翰福音十四章中提及聖靈 - 保惠師時, 因耶穌說: "我要求父, 父就另外賜給你們一位保惠師..." (約 14:16) 他們便認為這位保惠師一定是另有其人, 又因這位"聖靈"擁有人的特質, 就是為人禱告祈求及擔憂等. 加上證言也指出這位'聖靈'是有位格的 

"The Holy Spirit has a personality, else He could not bear witness to our spirits and with our spirits that we are the children of God. He must also be a divine person, else He could not search out the secrets which lie hidden in the mind of God." (FLB 52.3)                                                 "圣灵是有个性的，否则祂就不能对我们的心作见证并与我们的灵同证我们是上帝的儿女。祂一定是有神圣本体的，否则祂就测不透隐藏在上帝心中的深奥之事." (信仰的基礎 52.3)
